seriously wonder what has him laughing so hard.
Looking through my high school yearbook. You know, high school wasn’t as great as it was for most people. Being that I had to spend the next 4 years of my life with complete strangers. I mean, these kids grew up with each other. So being the new kid it’s kind of hard to make friends & fit in. But I overcame that. At one point I pretended to be someone I wasn’t. But by my 10th grade year I decided to just be myself. It was a lot easier. I was bullied a lot. Disliked by a lot but hey, I’d rather be hated for being me than someone I’m not so it was fine.
High School Taught Me
- You will only have 2-5 real friends you can trust in the end
- People will smile in your face but at the same time talk behind your back
- I’m better off being a loner than the center of attention. Too much drama
- Males talk more shit than females
- Kids will do anything to fit in and be noticed
- Who I really was & to be more confident & prideful in myself
#SO EFFING TRUE
But this was me for Jr. High.
I actually loved my high school years and really disliked my Jr. High School years. In Jr. High, instead of a bunch of strangers, I was in school with a lot of kids who lived in my neighborhood and who I went to elementary school with; most of the kids I went to elementary school with were in a popular crowd (but all for different reasons). But the bullying thing did happen, even to me, (similar to what happened in the Movie “Mean Girls” without the comedy and BOYS joined in too), and a lot of these ppl were two faced, fake, and extremely conceited; they were people I had initially considered friends. All six of those things you learned in High School, I learned in Jr. High and because I learned it so early, it helped keep me away from a lot of drama in high school, learn to realize fake people, and to do whatever I felt like doing and not worry about what other people think. But High School was also another lesson… friends I made in the beginning weren’t all my REAL friends at the end and All the friends I made in the high school aren’t my friends now. But I come across a few people I went to High School with (even those I didn’t interact too much with) and now they tell me how much they admired me when I was in High School. They tell me because even though I was popular, I was always humble.
And I’m pretty sure you had admirers in High School you didn’t or don’t know about who look up to you for being REAL and being yourself.

You’re right who knows who admires me. I’m just glad I’m graduating. I’m ready for a new start.
